A few minutes passed before Firefly stopped galloping down random turns. Stanly was by her side comforting her, reminding her that they had run away too fast for the ghost to follow. Behind them, Tish, Haunt and Havoc were trying to decide which way to go next, but not a single foal was one hundred percent on what route to take. Stanly took the lead as they went down the route to the right, Firefly glued to his hip. Just as they started to settle, a large bat swooped down in front of Stanley’s face and an explosion of bats followed.

This was too much for poor Stanly, whose mind was thinking of vampire bats that his brother had told him about. Turning tail, he ran, bumping into Firefly and nearly running over Tish who gave a lady-like snort of disdain… up until a bat flew in front of her and her snort turned into a strangled sound before she followed a hasty retreat as well. Per usual, Haunt and Havoc collectively rolled their eyes and followed after the others.
